I myself have struggled with weight loss my entire life so I know what you’re going through.  With some changes in my life I lost a LOT of weight (over 65 pounds).  It wasn’t easy at first but I made it happen by adjusting my thinking and way of life (it’s not as hard as it sounds).

I decided that giving up fast-food, doughnuts, cookies, cake, and candy wasn’t the main focus.  My main focus became all about choosing delicious, healthy foods that were fun to make and even funner to eat.  I learned how to cook Italian food (Southern Style – less cheese and meat so lower calorie) and learned how to exercise effectively.  These two steps were the biggest for me and they will be for you too.

What keeps most people from succeeding is that they go about it the wrong way.  They think they need to exercise 5 hours a day and eat nothing but lettuce.  This is far from the truth.  The real way to do it is to adjust your diet by substituting delicious healthy foods for delicious unhealthy foods.  This is easy! Think of substituting fat, greasy foods for delicious, seedless grapes that burst in your mouth, hearty pastas, piping hot oatmeal with brown sugar and blueberries, juicy lean meats, and lightly buttered white fish. MMMMM! Trust me, once you make the change and start eating healthy you will notice the difference immediately! You’ll lose weight but you’ll also LOOK and FEEL great!

It’s easy to find exercises that work for you also.  You don’t have to spend hundreds a month at some posh health club.  You don’t even have to leave the house.  You can walk the dog, garden, do Yoga, jumping jacks, jump rope, play tennis, go swimming, jog around the neighborhood, chase your kids around, etc.  Whatever you enjoy doing can be your weekly exercise routine.  If you enjoy it then you will look forward to doing it (i.e. it won’t feel like work).
