How To Lose Back Fat For Women Fast
Excess body fat is a pain in the butt! Especially when you’re talking about the more stubborn areas like belly and back fat. It seems like these two places on your body just love to hang on to excess fat. Well, if you follow the advice on this page you will learn how to lose that fat fast and effectively so you can be toned and firm all over and not just in a few areas.
The Big Problem
A frequent question that I get asked is, “how do I get rid of back fat?” It is a common problem among women and men. But there is a solution. It’s just probably not what you thought it was.
Understanding how to lose upper back fat and lower back fat is a process. There isn’t a “magic bullet” that will do it for you. With fat loss most people are under the impression that you can spot reduce body fat. Some people think that you need to do 1,000 sit ups or back lifts. This is not the case. I wish it was, but it’s not. You have to work on losing weight in general to get rid of body fat that accumulates on your body. The only real “magic bullet” is cosmetic surgery. With certain cosmetic procedures they can target JUST your back fat. The only problem with this is that once you have the procedure done you’ll have to change your diet and exercise anyway or else the fat will begin to accumulate on your back once again.
How To Get Rid Of Upper Back Fat And Lower Back Fat
When you want to know how to lose lower back fat need to understand that you’ll have to reduce the amount of calories you eat each day to the correct amount. You need to burn off more calories than you consume. If you eliminate 500 calories per day from your diet you can lose approximately 1 pound per week (this is an approximate figure that will vary from person to person). You can use This Calorie Calculator to determine how many calories per day you should be eating.
Learning how to reduce back fat means you’ll need to burn the excess calories you consume each day which means you need to do some exercise on a daily basis and you need to learn how to stop eating too much. Depending on your activity level, you should try and make the exercise as vigorous as possible. Now, you don’t have to be a marathon runner, but getting rid of specific areas of fat is not easy.
What Exercises Get Rid Of Back Fat?
I recommend you pick something you enjoy doing so it doesn’t feel like work to you. If you like swimming then spend around 45 minutes a day in the pool. If you like walking then take a long, brisk, walk. You can also try dancing, martial arts, yoga, pilates, aerobics, cycling, jogging, etc.
Adding weight training into your exercise routine is also very beneficial. Stronger and more toned muscle will naturally burn more calories. So the stronger you make your muscles the more calories you’ll burn everyday (not just when you’re working out). Below I’ve listed some exercises that work best at toning and strengthening your back muscles. This is good not just for buning fat but also giving you a strong lower back which will help you with balance and also will help you avoid injury in the future.
Back Fat Exercises For Women
The Superman
Lie face down on the ground and extend your arms straight above your head. Imagine you’re Superman looking down over Metropolis as you fly over. Now, keeping your head down lift your arms, legs, and chest off the ground. Try and focus on using your lower back muscles to pull your arms, legs, and chest up. Hold for 3 to 5 seconds and SLOWLY lower your arms, chest, and legs back to the ground.
Opposite Leg And Arm Lifts
Lie flat on the floor, face down, in the Superman position. Now slowly lift your right arm and your left leg up, keeping your pelvis and chest flat on the floor, and hold for 3 seconds. If this is uncomfortable or painful then stop. Lower your right arm and left leg to the ground slowly. Now lift your left arm and right leg up the same way. Start with around 3 reps on each side and increase as you feel your back getting stronger. Remember, if you feel any pain or discomfort then do NOT continue.

These exercises are excellent for building, toning, and strengthening your back muscles. I also recommend Yoga as it can help not only strengthen your back but also the rest of your body. It will dramatically increase your flexibility, stamina, and balance while helping you decompress from the stresses you accumulate during the day.
You can try certain cosmetic procedures that target back fat. I don’t recommend them but I will list them here so you are fully aware of your options:
Ultrasound Body Sculpting
This newer technology should be available at your local dermatologists office. You would need to contact them to find out if they offer this service. What it does is direct carefully calibrated energy into your skin where fat cells absorb it. The fat that is emulsified or liquefied can be removed from the body via natural means or with a tiny suctioning cannula.
Liposuction
This is one of the only ways to remove fat cells from your body. A qualified cosmetic surgeon will make incisions in your body and then use a medical vacuum to actually suction out the fat cells. This is NOT a minor surgery and can carry significant risks such as disfigurement and death. I recommend you try any and ALL other methods before trying this and, as usual, talk to your doctor about your options.
